AI that earns its place in the work

The interesting question about AI is rarely whether it can do a task. With enough data, it usually can. The useful question is whether it earns its place once you count the cost of being wrong.

Some tasks tolerate error well. A first draft, a rough classification, a shortlist a human will review. Others do not, and there the speed of AI is a liability if no one is checking the output.

We sort the work by the cost of a mistake, not by how impressive the demo looks. Where errors are cheap and reversible, we move fast. Where they are not, AI assists and a person decides.

Used this way, AI stops being a headline and becomes a quiet part of the toolkit, trusted because its limits are understood.
